If you've ever driven around Central London you'll know that the car-nage that is Picadilly Circus is not something to be trifled with.
Well someone obviously didn't give rubberband. the memo, as the directing duo not only chose to shoot their latest promo for British singer Bakar in the infamous hotspot, they also shut it down.
Showing the star abandon his car and embark on a freeform performance, Alive! brings to life a bold statement on artistic freedom in a daring manner; the SMUGGLER pair not only shooting Bakar in the midst of his freedom, but also capturing the bewildered spectators caught up in the melee.
“Alive! was an extraordinary experience in every way," explains rubberband. "Working with an artist as brave and creative Bakar is the sort of collaboration you dream of but rarely find.
"The idea for the video was simple, abandon a car in the middle of Piccadilly Circus during rush hour and perform the song. This was done for real.
"Alive! is about freedom and self-expression, and what that means in the context of a greater whole. To stand in front of a sea of faces and attempt to feel alive.”
