To celebrate 75 years of British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards, the arts charity has teamed up with Digital Cinema Media on Behind Every BAFTA, a new campaign aimed at encouraging the next generation of creative talent by showcasing the huge range of skills and knowledge that goes into making films, games and TV.
The cornerstone of the campaign, created by DCM’s in-house team and directed by Ali Dickinson, is a 60-second national cinema advert narrated by double BAFTA winner Big Zuu and featuring behind-the-scenes content, along with clips from blockbusters like 1917, Skyfall and Get Out.
An accompanying campaign on BAFTA’s social and digital platforms highlights a range of free resources and guidance that include mentoring, bursaries, networking opportunities, masterclasses and career development initiatives, to help talented people take their first step into film, games and television.
