After previously acquainting themselves with the gritty streets and coastal scenes of the United Kingdom for their safety briefing, British Airways hath now turned its attentions to another cherished cultural preoccupation: the period drama.
Engaging the talents of comedy director Sharon Maguire, esteemed for her work on Bridget Jones’s Diary and Bridget Jones’s Baby, this new film portrayeth delightfully coiffed characters embroiled in Austen-esque escapades, only to be amusingly interrupted by over 40 of the airline’s staff delivering the essential safety information.
Once more developed in collaboration with Uncommon and filmed by Bang TV, the production doth captivate with its intricate details, significantly enhanced by the expertise of Oscar-winning costume designer Jenny Beavan and dialect coach Jill McCullough.
