The new NFL season kicked off on September 10 and pegged to are the hopes and dreams of millions of fans.

However, with the ongoing pandemic meaning no spectators in stadiums and, often, no large groups in bars to watch the games, most people are relying on cable television to get their football fix. Most, but not all...

Some unscrupulous individuals attempt to illegally stream games and this new spot for Miller Lite aims to work as an antidote to that. Created by DDB Chicago and directed by Tony Yacenda through SMUGGLER, the near-four-minute country music video-slash-commercial-fake game feed illustrates what could happen if you violate that all-important copyright act of 1976. It follows the travails of a man who tries to illegally stream a game, his friends abandonment of him, his arrest, imprisonment and, ultimately, inability to watch the NFL. All he ever needed was a conscience and one of Miller Lite's Cantennas...

The video was found among Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook groups, the places to which people flock to find illegal streams, and where DDB seeded links to their own fake streaming sites. Once on those sites, users found the video, which initially appeared to be a live stream of the game, and which highlighted the Cantenna, a limited edition real can of Miller Lite with a built-in digital TV antenna so that fans can watch free NFL football.
