In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the release of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, AT&T exposes the harsh reality of when your upload speeds let you down during an important moment with a new regional spot for its Fiber service starring Elijah Wood. 

The spot, titled Super Fan, features Elijah Wood video chatting with a group of fans eager to ask their questions. But, when PreciousBaggins25 starts to speak, slow upload speeds cause his video to freeze, missing his chance. The spot goes on to highlight the up to 20x upload speed advantage of AT&T Fiber versus cable internet.

The 30-second spot directed by Radical Media's Steve Miller debuted February 7th in select regional markets with AT&T Fiber service and also air during the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am next weekend. It will also be supported with paid and organic social media on AT&T channels.
