Following controversy at Cheltenham Festival last week - which saw three horses put down after sustaining racing injuries - Brown worked directly with the animal rights group to create the timely campaign.
In the spot, an injured footballer is carted off the pitch for medical attention. After carefully examining his leg, the doctor reaches into his kit bag - but instead of pulling out a splint or painkillers, he produces a revolver and dispatches the footballer with clinical detachment. 'You wouldn't support football if injured players were executed,' concludes the ad. 'So why support horse racing?'
