If you're not a gamer, you might not have heard of Captain Price and his hard-hitting (or should that be shooting) band of brothers in Task Force 141, but point-of-entry aside, there's no denying Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare series' blockbuster status.
Aimed squarely at fans of the shooter, Makarov Returns uses live-action, in-game cinematics and eerie tattoo animation to set the scene for the return of the eponymous villain; the remix of Just So You Remember by Pusha T and Six Day War by Colonel Bagshot giving the gulag extra grime.
Created by 72andSunny and directed by Salomon Lighthelm through Prettybird, the film's ominous tone and knowing nods to elements of the IP's lore are certain to get CoD devotees' trigger-fingers itching.
