This new campaign from Droga5, called The Pass and which debuted during NFL kickoff weekend, tells the story of Peacock’s rapid scaling by depicting a football pass of epic proportions.
Using the metaphor of a Hail Mary pass to symbolise the massive volume of streams, from millions of passionate football fans watching together across America, the spot builds on Accenture’s Reinvented with Accenture campaign by bringing scale to another level.
Directed by Francois Rousselet through Division, the film highlights a down-to-the-wire game and a final second Hail Mary pass thrown in hopes of victory. Leaving the stadium, the ball takes a surreal journey across the country, taking viewers through a series of iconic American landscapes and demonstrating how Accenture is helping Peacock scale viewership in all these places.
"This was a unique production," said Giancarlos Rodas Garay, Executive Creative Director at Droga5. "We shot this across the country in multiple states and 17 locations to showcase real people - not actors - who represent the variety of football fans unified by their love of the game."
