Among the many side effects of coronavirus is that it is forcing upon most of us a time for reflection and a re-evaluation of what’s important.
Created by VCCP, these three simple but affecting films will bring lump-in-the-throat smiles of recognition as individuals featured in previous Voices Nationwide ads share their lockdown experiences and reveal what wise words they would like to say to themselves in six months’ time.
Along with Laura Smyth and Deanna Rodger, who both reveal, in their own words, what they've learned about relationships, family and friendships, are Matt Abbott and Maria Ferguson, who met through Nationwide and discuss, in rhyming verse, what matters most to them with their wedding day planned for six months’ time. Sweet.
The ads also highlight where to find further information about the support the Society is providing to members financially impacted by the virus. The spots were all completed within a week and filmed by the artists in their own homes, during the current lockdown period.
