To mark Chinese New Year, skincare brand SK-II has released an online docu-short film examining the family and societal pressure on Chinese women to get married.

Created by Forsman & Bodenfors Singapore, Meet Me Halfway follows on from the brand's previous films on the subject - Marriage Market Takeover and The Expiry Date - with three real-life stories of young, single Chinese women as they take the daunting first steps of reaching out to their parents after years of avoiding and not returning home due to marriage pressure. Through sharing their stories and listening with an open mind, both sides learn to meet halfway on the matter.
