Creative polymath, pin-up, Bond contender and general force of nature, Idris Elba, fronts this new campaign for Squarespace, directed by Spike Jonze.
Created in-house and released in the run-up to Super Bowl LIII (which the website-building brand is opting out of this year), the shorter of the two ads, Dream It, sees Elba lip-syncing along to a sweet rendition of Que Sera, Sera (performed by The Kaos Signing Choir for Deaf & Hearing Children), while he tries out alternative careers as a boxer, fashion designer, pilot and astronaut.
In the second, longer film, Make It [below], which is shot in a mockumentary style, Elba is shown trying to create a website alongside his long-suffering assistant, played by English stand-up comedian Lolly Adefope. Check out the actual website here.
