After talks across the four-day festival from advertising luminaries such as Mark Denton who spoke about the importance of puerility, and Neil Dawson who discussed the power of emotion, and insight into areas such as comedy and the blockchain, the winning campaigns were garlanded with the coveted Sharks statue.

Alongside the three categories already announced [Music Videos, Short Films and Best New], were 12 other areas over which this year's judges, led by AMV BBDO's head of art and creative, Rosie Arnold, had deliberated across the last few days. Those agregated results, listed below, saw BBDO New York crowned as Agency of the Year and BBDO as Network of the Year.

Also, the Best New Director awards, which are voted for by festival delegates, went to Carol Freeman (Irish) for The Bird and The Whale and Christian Shilling (International) for Kill the Noise, The Man with a Coin and Pomegranate.
