shots highlights the work from certain categories that we think might pick up metal over the Cannes Lions festival week.
We are less than two short weeks away from the 2018 Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity, where the best, most creative global advertising ideas from the last 12 months with fight it out for Lion-shaped supremacy on the Croisette.
There are, as ever, a whole host of categories into which work can be entered (despite the festival's revamped and streamlined approach) but in this selection of work we are concentrating on Film, Film Craft, Entertainment and Entertainment for Music; Music Videos.
Each piece of work selected is something which the shots editorial team feels stands above the vast majority of campaigns we've seen over the course of the last year, and puts itself in pole position for recognition at the upcoming festival.
