Comedian Richard Ayoade is the star of JWT's newest offering for HSBC, in which he identifies the many nationalities that feature in our daily lives. 

From Latin American football stars, Asian cuisines and French pets, the ad set to Edward Elgar's Nimrod is a nod to the ongoing Brexit talks ahead of the UK's planned departure from the European Union next year.

The spot, appropriately titled Global Citizen, aims to remind us of our role in global affairs, by Ayoade ending the ad with: "We live on a wonderful lump of land in the middle of the sea. But we are not an island. We are part of something far, far bigger."
