Visit Britain with 180LA's Navigable New Ad
Visit Wales, London, Manchester, The Highlands and Cornwall all at once in this interactive ad from 180LA & Friend.
180LA have teamed with Friend London for a new decide-your-own-adventure-style ad where website users can navigate between 5 different locations in the UK.
The project, which has been compared to Honda's acclaimed The Other Side campaign, in which the viewer could switch between a everyday car journey and a racing car experience. But where that ad only had two choices, the Visit Britain campaign, directed by Tim&Joe, allows users to switch between 5 different locations - London, Manchester, Cornwall, The Highlands and Wales - to create a continuous ad.
To do this, they have synced together five films in each of the locations with very similar scripts. So when someone starts talking about the local sports scene (as in the above image), you can switch between pages and see the variety of sports avaialbe in the UK, from regular rugby to more unconventional caber tossing.
The interactive campaign can be experienced on the Expedia website, which can be reached by clicking this link.
