Swiss agency Walker Zurich has created a comic caign for online personalised photo products provider iFolor depicting the emotional power of a photobook.
The caign features two teaser TVCs that prompt viewers to go online to continue the story in two related longer films. The TV spots and photos were shot in Sweden by Carl Sundemo at Hobby Film.
In the Wedding TV ad, a new bride tearfully flicks through a photobook presented by her ex (played by Book of Mormon actor Daniel Buckley), but to find out what’s upsetting her you have to follow an online link to a related film, where it is revealed that…. Nope we won’t tell, you’ll have to watch it (below). Then you'll get to hear the delightfully cheesy love song too!
In the Christmas TV ad, a couple cry as they turn the pages of a photobook presented to them as a Christmas present by their young daughter. Again you have to follow the link to a longer film (below) to find out how the mini manipulator is most expertly playing her separated parents’ emotions in her efforts to bring about a reconciliation.
