Samsung Singalong Feels The Pulse
Feel the biometric beat of Samsung's smartwatch-promoting sing song.
There’s nothing like a good old fashioned Christmas sing-song. And this is nothing like a good old fashioned sing-song as Samsung and Cheil London create a cool choir event on the UK's first biometric stage powered by Samsung's Gear S3 smartwatch.
Every day between 1 and 24 December, at London’s Piccadilly Circus, 24 choirs from 24 different countries will perform festive songs from around the globe on a high-tech bio-stage. A select number of choristers from each performance will wear a Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch that will collect live biometric data; this will be turned into stunning real-time visuals on the eight giant screens built into the stage, showing the power music has on people’s health and wellbeing. The choristers’ heart rates, calories burnt and movements will be presented as a live data visualisation created by VFX studio Framestore.
Choirs include Les Fauristes Chamber Choir, the only French choir in London; the LOL Choir from Latin America; the Reggae Choir from Jamaica; and The Chopsticks Choral Society from China.
