McDonald’s UK has launched a new caign through Leo Burnett London designed to show the ongoing work carried out to change the world famous Happy Meal for the better.

Following a workforce of miniature men in the animated ad, the piece mentions the key improvements that have been made to the much-loved menu favourite including a reduction in salt, a broadening of the drinks range and the addition of fruit and books to the box.

The caign illustrates the changes as part of the brand’s 10-year nutrition strategy and the piece was directed by Hornet's Yves Geleyn. To see how the ad was made, watch the making of film below.
