Saatchi London Call the Wolfe for Direct Line
Saatchi London & Chris Palmer oversee the return of Pulp Fiction's Winston Wolfe in this campaign for Direct Line.
Saatchi & Saatchi London and Gorgeous director Chris Palmer have brought the iconic figure of Pulp Fiction's Winston Wolfe back to star in a slection of Direct Line TV commercials.
It's been 20 years since Wolfe graced our screens in Quentin Tarantino's seminal film but he's lost none of his charm, wit and fast-talking nature, only here he's not helping to clear up the unfortunate Marvin, but aid a couple who have been burgled by reminding them that by having taken photos of their stolen items and sent them to Direct Line, they could have replacement items within eight hours.
The spot, called Break In, is part of a wider campaign staring Harvey Keitel's Wolfe, which focus on the brand's ability to fix problems fast and efficiently. Other spots in the campaign are called Traffic Warden, Write Off and Fire and the first of these will air on UK TV tomorrow [Saturday August 30] as part of ITV's The X-Factor. The campaign will also include YouTube pre-roll videos, print, social media and digital displays.
Now, pretty please, with sugar on top, watch the fuckin ad.
