One million new-born babies die during birth every year unnecessarily. This powerful spot created by adam&eveDDB was made to raise awareness of the alarming statistic and to launch the No Child Born to Die campaign, which aims to save two million babies’ lives a year and raise awareness of one million deaths on the very first day of life. The film, directed by Save The Children's Jonathan Hyams, highlights the fact that with basic midwife training millions could be saved and features the first-ever real-life child birth in an advertisement.
