Starring in the commercial to celebrate the 10-year partnership between Fairy and Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Hollywood hardman winds up in some all too familiar situations as nine year old wannabe director, Harry Collet, gives the orders on set. As Bean maintains his famous straight face and hard man persona, fighting knights, escaping pirates, tackling a T-Rex and even surviving a pork pie explosion, a strict and grinning Collet at one point even demands Bean “give it some welly”. The actual commercial was directed by Jamie Childs and sees the Fairy brand take a new direction from its previous marketing campaigns to promote the work of the charity.
