YDA strikes the right chord

Directed by The Martians through Push Films, the YDA's Born to Create Drama short is a celebration of not only the individualism of the true creative, but the crucial role that sound and music play in the language of film.

With sublime sound by GAS Music, the piece floats effortlessly from one great scene to the next. It follows a young violinist, Ana Rita Corderio, who breaks away from tradition and expresses her dramatic sensibilities by orchestrating horror movie thrills as flashes of Nosferatu and other classics are spliced into the mix.  

The directors explain that the piece of work "was created in memory of our former music teacher F. Gordon whose wise words turned us into what we are today.”
