There a few speech-givers as well-renowned as Abraham Lincoln, so it's only fitting that his voice (albeit digitally augmented) should deliver non-profit Worth Rises' punchy speech.
Created using AI and performance capture, The Most Famous Speech Never Given is even more apt for Honest Abe as it concerns an exception in the 13th Amendment, celebrated for ending slavery in the U.S., of which the President was among its biggest champions.
Highlighting the clause that has been understood throughout history to allow slavery and involuntary servitude to be used as punishment for crime, the speech appeals to 2024 Presidential Candidates and constituents to finally end slavery for all by passing the Abolition Amendment.

As important as the message is, it would be rendered useless if the means of delivery weren't so impressive. Thankfully, agency EP+Co nails the challenge both visually and tonally, utilising AI technology to help write the speech, working closely with leading Abraham Lincoln authority and Chairman of the Lincoln Forum, Harold Holzer, to ensure that not only the speech itself, but Lincoln’s appearance and voice were as accurate and authentic as possible.
“At EP+Co, we believe we have a responsibility to use our creative resources and talents for the greater good," explains John Cornette, Chief Creative Officer, EP+Co. "For us, advertising isn’t about selling products. It’s about building belief for brands and causes we love — causes like End the Exception. As an agency, we’re deeply committed to driving meaningful change in the world. Right now, by inspiring congress to pass the Abolition Amendment to end slavery once and for all. ”
“Bringing back a revered political icon like former President Abraham Lincoln is a great responsibility and not one we took lightly," adds Bianca Tylek, Founder and Executive Director, Worth Rises. "But there is no more important a reason to do so than to end slavery, and all its lasting vestiges, a feat that defined his legacy even as he fell short. This project honours the former President while understanding him to be the fallible man he understood himself to be.
"He is the messenger we need, even post-mortem, in today’s divided nation to finally end the exception in the 13th Amendment and truly abolish slavery for all.”
