Immigration is a controversial topic in many countries around the world, and Australia is no exception. But a new campaign for Westpac Bank aims to offer a more positive take, backed by research that found one in three small businesses in Australia are owned by migrants.
Created by DDB Sydney, the 90-second ad tells the epic tale of a couple who leave their war-torn country to migrate to Australia, and the sacrifices they must make along the way. Their fledgling bakery business gets off to a bumpy start, but they grow to treasure the life and opportunity it gives their family.
The film was directed by Steve Ayson via 3&7.
