We’re not entirely sure how it’s possible to turn inanimate vehicles into loveable main characters, but, somehow, with the help of VFX by bEpic and director Daniel Warwick of Business Club Royale, Forsman & Bodenfors have managed it.
The spot is an endearing love story for the ages between two vehicles, one named Fun, and the other Efficiency.
They meet in the Lonely Truck Minimart carpark and are immediately lovestruck, embarking on a romantic adventure that sees them racing along highways and floating through fluffy pink clouds, ending with a passionate embrace on the beach that may require a PG rating.
“The hardest part of the shoot was managing the actors," said Lars Jansson, art director at Forsman & Bodenfors. "Attraction is not something you can force and since it was the first time the trucks met, we didn’t know if they would hit it off or if there would just be awkward silence. Luckily, it was love at first sight and as far as we know they are still a thing.”
