From donning lucky garbs to performing irrational rituals, football lovers across the world will partake in all kinds of ridiculous pre-game rites to support their team in the upcoming African cup championship.
But, with AFCON 2024 being Egypt's best chance of ending a decade-long drought, telecommunications brand Vodafone is encouraging fans to switch up their match-day tactics, such as swapping cable TV for streaming, in this fun campaign created by Wunderman Thompson.
Helmed by Hamba & Doss through Neo Productions, the spot enlists the help of professional Egyptian footballers Mo Salah, Mahmoud Trezeguet and Omar Marmoush, who take a frenzied trip around the country, begging fans to forego their clearly unlucky habits.
