Created by Zambezi and directed by Fela's Kat Webber, this empowering music video, launched by sportswear brand Under Armour in time with the FIFA Women’s World Cup, captures the mental tenacity and physical strength of female footballers.

The film stars US rapper Gavlyn, and Nadia Rose, a rapper from the UK, who embark on a rap battle representing their respective athletes, Kelley O’Hara and Alex Greenwood.

Oozing with style and strong female energy, the music video suggests football is as much a mental game as a physical one, showcasing the not only the unwavering fortitude of its players but the sense of community they share.

“We wanted to capture the individuality of each athlete and artist, while collectively capturing the essence of the female force.” Explains Webber.

“Although Kelley and Alex are being pitted head-to-head in a battle style song structure, there is also an underlying element of community, collectivity, mutual respect, support, and kinship that unite these women, even during competition. They have a shared legacy that they aim to leave in their wake - to  empower the next generation of females.”
