The Ukrainian Embassy in Stockholm has launched this affecting campaign in collaboration with Prime Weber Shandwick to raise funds to help keep Ukrainians warm, as Russia continues to target the country’s energy networks.
Sensitively directed by Michael Sjosten through B-Reel Films, the cinematic and cleverly constructed film offers a chilling glimpse inside a family home without power or heating.
Intimate close-ups show a mother and child huddled together for warmth in bed. The camera then slowly pulls back to reveal snow scattered across the floor, and further still, that the room itself is merely a set, fully exposed to the freezing outdoor elements.
