The Australian-born, Los Angeles-based directing duo Jonathan and Josh Baker (known collectively as TWIN) have expanded their relationship with Academy Films, joining the company’s US roster for commercial and branded representation.

Since joining the Academy family in 2015, TWIN have brought their signature mix of cinematic scope, emotional authenticity and offbeat charm to the company’s UK roster. Their expansion into the US marks a natural next step in a creative partnership defined by curiosity, precision and ambition. Renowned for work that fuses design discipline with human pulse, the Baker brothers have built an international reputation through films for Nike, Google, GE and Beats by Dre, each charged with kinetic energy, wry wit and bold visual storytelling.

Outside the commercial world, the brothers directed the feature film KIN (2018), produced by 21 Laps and Lionsgate, and collaborated with Disney and Lucasfilm on the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser experience. They’re currently developing multiple narrative projects in both film and tv, including Ursa Major starring Jessica Biel and Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi, and Swordplay, a samurai adventure set in a monster-infested Los Angeles.
