Service produced by Twentyfour Seven L’Homme is the latest offering from global fashion heavyweight Yves Saint Laurent.

To celebrate the new campaign the creative agency BETC Luxe got together with the Parisian production company Phantasm to create this stylish commercial.

YSL L’Homme features Vinnie Woolston, the face of the brand, and making her debut for YSL is the stunning Chiharu Okunugi. The film centres on Vinnie as he leads Chiharu on a lust fuelled chase which shows no signs of slowing.

Made timeless by its striking black and white cinematography, one could be forgiven for thinking it was shot in New York – in fact renowned music video director Colin Tilley and director of photography Paul Ozgur worked together to bring BETC’s campaign alive in Madrid.

Using the wonderful architecture of metropolitan Madrid as a backdrop and working together with production designer Renaud Deschamps, Colin and Paul have created a stunning piece that emits a classic New York vibe whilst maintaining a very distinct modern feeling.

From Twentyfour Seven’s point of the view, the challenge was to once again double up Madrid as the city of New York. After extensive scouting with a focus on Modern Architecture marvels such as the Museu ABC, the expansive streets of Gran Via and a deep dive into the galleries & narrow backstreets of the city’s neighbourhoods, this commercial once again perfectly demonstrates Madrid’s value as a shoot destination when looking to emulate that classic American look.
