Creative studio Trollbäck + Company has hired Chace Hartman (left) as a Creative Director and Thomas Edwards (right) as an Art Director in order to expand its capabilities and bandwidth for broadcast and commercial productions.

Both have jumped right into the creative fray at Trollbäck + Company. Hartman is directing an animated show open for Antiques Roadshow in the brand's first redesign since its launch in 1997, as well as designing titles for a Sheraton Hotels commercial. Edwards is directing a brand video for House of Marley and a commercial for the company's Chant Mini.

Hartman brings extensive experience in design, illustration, and motion to Trollbäck + Company.  Hartman began his career in technical illustration and design, merging these skills with animation to move into motion graphics.  He's worked on a range of campaigns for digital, commercials, live action, identities, and broadcast for brands such as Chevron, Verizon, American Express, AT&T, Kraft, Toyota, ESPN, Pepsi, BBC, and NBC. Among the design companies where he's previously worked are Digital Kitchen, Brand New School, Ebeling Group, and Passion Pictures, among others of note.

"I strive to create work that is unique to the project but direct in its message," says Hartman. "I have always admired Trollbäck + Co. for its ability to do that. It's exciting to have the chance to collaborate with all the talented people here."

Edwards, a NYC-based creative originally from Australia, is known for blending an urban sensibility with bold ideas. Prior to joining Trollbäck + Co., he created content for Nickelodeon, Optimum Freewheel, Centric, Music Max and more. Edwards most recently completed a beautiful black and white branding campaign for CNBC, a humorous campaign for Mun2, and a stop-motion piece for fashion label Kate Spade. With a multi-disciplined background in photography and design, he fluently combines live action, design and post effects to create campaigns that are highly visual, contemporary and entertaining.

"More people are gravitating to our purposeful and emotional design sensibilities. We have been fortunate to find two incredible talents to handle the influx of work," says Elyse Roth, Executive Producer at Trollbäck + Co., "Both Tom and Chace bring their own unique styles as well as expertise in character animation and live action. We're thrilled to have them on board."
