On International Women’s Day - a date dedicated to women’s empowerment - insurance company Allianz and Irish charity Women’s Aid released a website exposing the devastating statistics about Ireland’s domestic abuse crisis.
Created by In The Company Of Huskies, this poignant campaign consists of a live online stopwatch, found at TheLastIncident.ie, which reveals the length of time since an incident of abuse was reported on the Women’s Aid website.
The site highlights how there’s no break from domestic abuse, even on International Women’s Day. With every click for help, the counter resets back to zero.
