Sky’s in-house agency, Sky Creative Agency, has created a new campaign to highlight the amount of live football available on Sky Sports over the festive period.
Snowballs depicts a flurry of footballs across the country, covering the land in millions of white balls, to the delight of players, pundits and fans. The stylish film features Aston Villa and England star Jack Grealish, and Sky pundit Micah Richards, reacting with wide-eyed delight as they discover it has been snowing footballs overnight. Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, host Dave Jones, and newsreader Bela Shah also feature.
The festive football spot was directed by Caswell Coggins, with VFX by Coffee &TV.
“This is a wonderfully simple idea, dramatised beautifully," said Robin Garton, Sky Creative Agency’s Executive Creative Director. "It delivers the message, and a smile - a warm glow from a cool ad.”
