Some people fear Freddie Kruger. For others, Michael Myers is the boogieman of their nightmares. VHS fans still fear the appearance of Sadako from their cathode rays. But there is one horror that puts the willies up EVERYONE, no matter how tough you are - the overflowing toilet...
Taking this terrifying prospect and running with it is VaynerMedia, whose latest film for Scott® Bath, The Clogging, is an enjoyably mortifying spoof of the horror genre.
Opening up with an idyllic setting of a woman nervously meeting her prospective in-laws for the first time, the story takes a turn for the sinister when *SHOCK* her Scott® 1000 toilet paper (made with clog-free technology, don't you know) is accidentally left behind in the car.
Clearly relishing the opportunity to take on the tropes, director Chioke Nassor gives the humorous tale a genuine sense of peril through performances, pacing and a generous portion of Dutch tilts; the silliness of the scenario making for some lol-worthy moments.
