What do you get if you combine Clint Eastwood gun slinging, Harlem Globetrotter B-ball spinning and Fred Astaire chair-inspired-dance-moves?

They were all an inspiration for Chop Shop's directing duo Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier in their latest campaign for Subway ANZ via Publicis Worldwide.

Created by Publicis Worldwide, the campaign aims to promote Subway’s new App and their Click & Collect services.

“The simplicity of the brief was it’s genius a customer walks into a store and collects their sub. The ease and fluidity of the visuals had to perfectly align to Scribe’s “Not Many” and that immediately set the tone and screamed ‘attitude’ to us. We decided to bring that attitude to every facet of the production, from our mise-en-scène, casting, blocking, wardrobe, and ultimately lighting. It all had to work together, thematically and rhythmically to do that verse “how many dudes you know roll like this” justice” says Lav Bodnaruk

Produced by The Chop Shop, with post production handled at their Boutique Brisbane studios
