Created for this year's New York Fashion Week, scheduled to run 7-13 September, the film was produced by director Tom Dream’s new creative studio Dream-CO, in collaboration with Istanbul-based production company Fabriqua.
Titled Myramid, it showcases Raisa Vanessa’s 23/24 season and is packed with classic surrealist references – René Magritte’s blue and white skies, incongruous animals and eye-shaped apertures.
The whole is enhanced by a sparkling score of scrapes and tinkles – composed by Dream, Josh Ludlow and Steve Pringle, with sound design by Adam Smyth that echoes the shimmers and glints of the metallic costumes.
