Directed by Jasper Cable-Alexander, through Ballistic, the promo for the Terra Twins track, Head Leaking, follows a tattoed protagonist loafing around a leafy London neighbourhood warbling about his wayward thoughts.
As he goes he befriends roller skaters, shares a pint with a dog, and rides a tiny bike wearing fairy wings.
The location, west London's vibrant Golborne Road, played a large role in the inspiration for the film – the director came up with the narrative while watching the street’s interesting characters pass by, wondering what they were thinking and where they were going.
As casting was crucial the team searched far and wide for its star, eventually finding model Warren Loader, the epitomy of middle-aged cool, who describes himself as “more Gandalf than Gandy”!
It was shot on 16mm film, lending it a nostalgic, summer haze aesthetic.
