Australian telecoms brand Telstra is getting a bit of a reputation for bringing offbeat whimsy to our screens, and their latest campaign, Wherever We Go, from Bear Meets Eagle On Fire doesn’t disappoint.
Directed by Smith & Foulkes through Riff Raff, the jolly spot sees the return of ‘Mick’ and his avian companion, who strut out into the street on a sunny day with a chipper swing in their step.
A procession of wacky characters follow, each 3D-animated figure matching his movement with a fluid, upbeat swagger affectionately referred to as the ‘Telstrut’. What unfolds is a fantastical world packed with playful twists and turns, all set to an infectiously catchy tune.
