Cracking choreography, smart editing, a spot of writhing flesh and a prancing white horse… what’s not to love?
Shot in just two and a half days, the promo for Hearts Will Bleed was produced by B-Reel Films Sweden, with delicious cinematography from Viktor Kumlin and colour from Oskar Larsson.
It features a synchronised routine – created by renowned choreographer Matilda Fleberg – in which beautifully glad dancers cavort around Janice against a backdrop of modernist architecture. The film is more complex than it first appears and offers pleasing textural interactions between richly hued silky, rubbery fabrics, soft flesh and several square metres of light grey cement. Nice.
The track is the first single from the EP, I Know A Thing About Love, released 30 August.
