Director Nicolina Knapp has written and artfully crafted this compelling promo for Swedish rock band Sunnan’s bewitching track My Love For You, co-produced by B-Reel Films, CANADA, and Iconoclast.
Monochrome opening shots follow a suited man walking a barren coastal path, filmed on Fårö Island in Sweden. As he approaches an abandoned house, ominous and symbolic compositions blend with coloured vignettes, gradually revealing to the viewer pieces of the protagonist's traumatic childhood event.
From the first foreboding shots, Knapp lays the foundation for a sombre and reflective narrative that perfectly complements the track’s melancholy tone.
