Source Presents… Los Angeles 2018
The LA production and ad community turned out in force for our screening night.
Thursday 1st March 2018 saw the wonderful members of LaLa’s AdLand swing down to Santa Monica for an evening of top-notch content and after-party action.
Taking over the largest screen in the opulent ArcLight, Source’s editorial team and presenter Jamie Madge once again assembled a bespoke show of short films and music videos from the stars of Scout, the unsigned director repository.
Encompassing 55 minutes of non-stop eye-popping action, the show featured crowd highlights including Alice Kunisue’s mesmerising (and wonderfully baffling) ‘Aulos’ promo for Vladimir Cauchemar, Junaid Chundigar’s hilarious epic-in-a-nutshell ‘Short But Sweet’ and Angelo Guglielmo’s heart-wrenching doc ‘The Monolith’.
However, the fun didn’t stop once the films finished rolling, with after-party sponsors and hosts Margarita Mix throwing one heck of a shindig at their palatial offices up the street. Coupled with outstanding tunes from Yessian Music (yes, there was dancing), the night was chalked up as one of Source’s best Presents ever!
