We all know that gamers come in every shape and size nowadays, but it still seems like something of a novelty to see Sony PlayStation's latest digital offering promoted by a refined gent of a certain age...
Asking the question Why be one thing, when you can be anything?, adam&eveDDB's campaign for the UK launch of the new PlayStation Plus subscription model follows our unexpected protagonist, Mr Malcolm, as he goes about his daily life before descending into a magical man-cave of console curios.
Directed with cinematic grace by MJZ's Henry Hobson, the film's delicate pace allows console fans to appreciate the delightful easter eggs strewn throughout, from Death Stranding's creepy BB pod, past a Watcher from the world of Horizon, to Jin Sakai’s fear-inducing mask from Ghost of Tsushima.
Elegant and well-presented, much like its central character, this enjoyably off-kilter film gives gamers a sense of grandiuer.
