There’s a man on the porch in a purple country-and-western suit clutching a goose. His bedroom is decorated with puffy clouds and has a tiny door in it that leads to the garden.
He waves at his altar ego who drives past in a purple mini-truck and takes delivery of a newspaper that announces good news.
You’ve either dropped off momentarily into a state of snooze, or you’re in a TVC directed by those masters of madness, The Perlorian Brothers.
In this case, it's the latter. Developed by Toronto agency, Fuse Create, and produced by Soft Citizen, Get the Sleep You’ve Been Dreaming Of promotes a sleeping aid aimed at adults seeking entry into dream states and relief from the torment of occasional insomnia.
The spot presents a nicely skew-whiff world revealing the story of a man benefitting from a trippy trip to the land of nod.
