This new spot from Cossette Communications Toronto for the Canadian SickKids hospital is a stylish and hard-hitting reminder of the medical procedures some children are subjected to.
Co-directed by Brent Foster and Mark Zibert through Scouts Honour, the spot is set to a haunting version of Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box and features an array of different shaped beads tumbling through the air. The VO informs that a bead is handed to a patient, who earns one "with every admission, poke, scan , surgery ", and that they are not given away, but are a badge of honour.
