With a loss of power or heating being an issue that affects pretty much every household, it's hardly surprising that this new campaign for British Gas from bespoke WPP agency nucleus strikes such a chord.
Shot in a first-person perspective, the two spots, Bathroom and Kitchen, use highly-relatable scenarios and some cracking editing to put the audience in the heart of the story - be it family shenanigans or culinary endeavors - before short-term disaster hits.
Vibrantly brought to life by HLA's Simon Ratigan, the spots' energy and likability create an effortless sense of brand goodwill and dependability.
