A kickabout with friends is one of the least tech-reliant hobbies you can partake in nowadays, but Samsung's latest project is attempting to make you reconsider the potential a little digital tinkering can encourage.
Developed with agency The Elephant Room, The Grassroots Academy will see experts from football and tech hold face-to-face and virtual masterclasses and workshops on how to harness the power of Samsung technology in order to create epic content and build a community.
The campaign kicks off with a film from Greatcoat's Sau Ali, focussing on East London’s Baiteze Squad, a team that managed to grow a huge following both online and in real life through their creative use of content, digital platform and tech skills.
With fun transitions and a fast-flowing VO, the spot, and project as a whole, looks like a slick and smart communication with a custom-built audience.
