Titled Out of Reach, this hard-hitting campaign, directed by rising Untold Studios director Sara Taleghani for The Mayor’s Fund for London, poignantly depicts the reality of the cost of living crisis.
Surreal visuals and special effects blend with repetitive prose to portray a young woman stuck in an endless loop of anxiety over increasing rent, food insecurity, and soaring domestic bills.
Each time she returns to the supermarket, her shopping becomes less and less accessible. Products cling to the shelves, get smaller and run away from her basket until reality is indistinguishable from a nightmare.
