If the hunting scene in Bambi left you in floods of tears, we warn you to brace yourself before watching this PSA.

Intended to shock, which it does with incredible precision, The Fawn is a powerful and impactful film from directing team rubberband., telling an important truth about hunting regulation through stark and painful means.

Conceived and created by SMUGGLER in partnership with New York-based agency American Haiku and Austin-based agency Preacher, the campaign brings forward the message of United Sense of America, a bi-partisan coalition of all Americans dedicated to turning common sense and common ground into public policy.

“Every line in the film came from online discussions and conversations," ECD Thom Glover comments. "Hunters are no different from the rest of us, the way people buy assault weapons is the same as the way they buy a refrigerator.

"We have to find a way to challenge this situation that doesn’t paint all gun owners as monsters, because they’re not.”

A United Sense of America spokesperson adds: “This isn’t a second amendment challenge; this is about our children, our community, our country. This is about our humanity and common sense. We have the power to try to put an end to much of the carnage and terror.”
