Bi-coastal audio post studio Racket Club bolsters their newly established presence in Los Angeles with the addition of Executive Producer Adrea Lavezzoli and Sound Designer and Mixer Nathan Dubin

Since its inception in 2019, Racket Club has made a name for itself as a noteworthy creative force for all things sound, drawing in clients like Impossible Foods, Volvo, BMW, Toyota, Benjamin Moore, and Google. As the company continues to grow with Racket Club’s new state-of-the-art studio in Culver City, Lavezzoli and Dubin bring their decades of experience to Racket Club’s LA audio post offering.

Nathan Dubin started sculpting soundwaves as a teenager, writing and recording music. His career as a sound designer and mixer began shortly after that, with Dubin becoming one of the most respected and requested names in the business over the past few decades. With a Clio Award for his work scoring commercials, Dubin’s versatile sonic style can be heard on many global spots for popular brands like Kia, Pepsi, Universal Studios, Toyota, Jack In The Box, and more.

Says Dubin, “I’m thrilled to be part of the Racket Club fam. I love my job, designing sounds and creating Mixes; it brings me joy. So I’m lucky to have found a company like Racket Club. They share that joy with me, and I’m honoured to be welcomed in.”

Executive Producer Adrea Lavezzoli has a diverse and storied career producing music and sound that includes thousands of commercials, collaborating with Will Ferrell on Anchorman 2, working with professional football players on EA Madden NFL games, and recording a New Orleans band in the historic United Recording Studios. Previously at Beacon Street Studios, Lavezzoli later worked at Netflix during the pandemic before joining Racket Club. Lavezzoli’s work has been nominated for many AICP and Clio awards, with her work on the opening credits for the comedy series Spoils of Babylon earning an Emmy nomination.

Lavezzoli says of joining Racket Club, “Being in music production is very rewarding. I love being part of a process that elevates a film and helps move an audience to laughter or tears. The work Racket Club creates is inspiring. As executive producer, I’m excited to help lead this crazy talented team of artists that are sure to add the jeuje to every project they touch.”

Justin Hori, Racket Club’s Creative Director and Partner, says of the company’s newest hires, “Adrea and Nathan are superstars, and we are truly lucky to have them on our team. Adrea is a natural leader for our West Coast office. It’s clear that she loves the work she does, and that energy is undeniably contagious. Nathan’s work in commercials and films is a step above the rest. He is a genius of his craft, and it’s already been such a pleasure seeing him in action. I’m confident these two will continue to lift Racket Club’s superior audio post-production standards.”
