If you were to name your favourite Australian singer - Hugh Jackman? Kylie? Stefan Dennis? - there's a strong chance their antipodean warblings might appear in this timely reimagining of Peter Allen anthem I Still Call Australia Home.
Incorporating the aforementioned Jackman and Minogue (sorry Stef) alongside Ash Barty, Troye Sivan, swimmers Bronte Campbell and Ellie Cole, and Aboriginal Elder Rene Kulitja, as well as spectacular locations around Australia, Qantas's new anthem is a celebration of the country's long-awaited 'reopening' following strict lockdowns around the Covid-19 pandemic.
From a creative concept by The Monkeys and shot by Rabbit Content filmmaker Kiku Ohe, the lengthy spot soars from icon to icon in majestic fashion, the screen filled with such majestic celebration that we're fairly sure there won't be a dry Aussie eye in the house.
